Kamusta from the Holoholo DTS in Naga

Our DTS has begun and we are on the 3rd week. In the Philippines, last week was our topic on Worship…God did some amazing things. God is definitely good! What God has placed on our heart before the school is exactly what the Lord had placed on the heart of Carol Antonio to speak on Wednesday morning. It was letting God be our source…the living water and allowing Him to fill areas that are empty, dry, thirsty, and needing some washing. The highlight for me was seeing our students’ hunger to know God more so much so that they were willing to lay all things out…transparent with their lives exposing areas in their life that has held them from freedom in worshipping and pursuing intimacy with God. This coming week will be on Listening to God’s Voice. I and my Fijian sister Alisi will be co-teaching/facilitating this week using Donna Jordan’s teaching/video. We need your prayers for us as well as the students. We pray this week wont just be head knowledge teaching but impartation. We take the place of teacher seriously as we know we are held accountable to the things we teach…so even before we teach…during our preparation God has been bringing things in my own life that need dealing with because there is more authority in our teaching/facilitating this weeks topic when we do first and then teach. The best pictures of what God is doing with us is balloons with weight tying it down from flying and that weight being cut as we walk in transparency and being real with one another of things we would hide because we fear what people will think of us (our fight for unity). That’s where freedom happens. God is loving that way! Our heart is to be transparent and have nothing in the way of hearing God, intimacy with Him and what God wants to do in and through the students.

We have 4 students in the Philippines and 9 students in Hawaii.

Pray for Unity, Intimacy with God, and freedom in the areas where we need breakthrough, and God’s heart and wisdom for each one of us both staffs and students. And if you have been praying for us, i want to thank you for taking part of what the Lord has been doing so far.

God's peace and love fill you and your home,
jenn
